Finally!

My interview went very well yesterday and the hiring manager offered me the job as a banquet server at the end! What a relief! I start the week long orientation on Monday (which is paid...what a blessing) followed by training. I get to wear a cool server tux and everything. My body is going to hurt so bad after I get on the floor but I'll get used to it. I'll get at least one day off a week. If we are really busy, I can work 6 days a week which will be great for us financially. The best part, I'll finally get to learn how to set a table:) It will really help Shawn be able to focus on classes and the dreaded homework and papers that he'll be doing. I'm so proud of him pursuing his education in such an aggressive way! I love you Shawn!

Here's an aerial picture of the massive, 5 Star, 5 Diamond Broadmoor. It's right at the base of the mountains!!

Here's one of the places I'll serve. That'll be me:)

Beautiful picture of the Main Ballroom. Wedding receptions and the like are held here. What a great work environment huh?

YEAH!!!! What an answer to prayer. I am so glad that job worked out for you. That will be fun serving in all those fancy places. The view where you are is so gorgeous! How are the boys liking school? Jada starts on Monday and we are suppose to have a Hurricane Tues or Wed. That ought to be interesting first week back to school. We need to keep a journal this year of all the things that are going on in our families. They will be great stories to reread someday! Love ya!

Wow, a hurricane already! The boys start on Monday too. We got them in a different district that hadn't started yet so they could start with everyone else in their class. It's amazing how it has all worked out. God sure does know how to take care of us. Thanks for all of your prayers. I'm glad we are both blogging, this can be our journal of what's going on. It will be awesome looking back on all of this and seeing God's hand in all of our lives! We're trying out church #3 tomorrow. We're not used to having so many choices on where to go. It's a strange pressure to go to the right one. We have been taking pictures and I'll see if maybe tonight we can post some. Love ya!

Congrats!! What a wonderful thing you are doing for your not only your husband but for your family. I am sure Shawn is very proud of you and thankful for you.

So, where will you be posting pics? Here?

Rick is possibly interviewing today. If not today, he will interview next friday. They will do it via computer where they can see him and what he is doing on the computer, strange world we live in, ha.

How are the boys liking school? The male perspective is a bit brief...something like, "Oh, fine." Ha.

I continue to be in prayer for you. I love you dearly.

It's beautiful!! I am just so impressed with you and your faithfulness with everything that is going on. I don't think I would be nearly that excited as you are! Oh, for god to give me a heart like that.

I'm just so amazed at all the things going on in y'alls family. It's so fun to hear about and see what all God is doing.

Also, I lived in Fort Collins, Colorado, it's north of Denver and it was the absolutely most beautiful place I've ever been. I know you'll love it there!
